Client Update - July 2020 - Tribal Core

In doing this work for nearly 20 years, we're quite sensitive to the reporting needs of clients, and it has always been a little tricky to find the right balance.

Some clients love our high-touch approach and appreciate the frequency with which we send out reports, suggestions and more. Other clients get overwhelmed by the volume of communication and tend to zone out, even when what we provide is highly actionable.

Starting in June, we are now consolidating some of our work into a single Monthly Reporting Summary deliverable. So while we are working on your behalf all month long, we are going to roll up all that work into a single report, delivered right around the end of the month.

While this isn't the sexiest update, we think it provides value, lowers friction and improves the work we do. Hope you agree!

If you've been a client of ours for a while, we think you can attest to an ever-improving suite of services. This includes our Keyword Research which is tailor-made for content development and Google Ads alike. It includes our Content Strategy, which is stuffed with great content ideas for blog posts, social media and improving the quality of the content on your site. It includes Topic Research, which is the roadmap you need to produce killer long-form comprehensive content that ranks. And it includes Page Research, which breaks down a high-value page on your website in exquisite technical and content-oriented detail in order to improve rankings.

Well, we've taken all that knowledge and refinement, and launched an online Store for a select suite of our services, served up á la carte as Roadmaps.

Every month, our clients receive an actionable Content Strategy doc that helps generate ideas for blog posts and social media. In March we rolled out version 2.0 - the new Content Strategy Roadmap, which contains detailed research for a specific topic along with everything that we had included before. We include keyword correlation, questions people ask and results from Google News and Google Images.

In May, our clients will begin receiving version 2.5 of the Content Strategy Roadmap, which includes a huge upgrade in Holidays & Observances, including related queries. We also include a worksheet, so you can print it out and make notes on your Content Plan.

We're always looking for ways to make our deliverables more useful, actionable and production-ready. This is just a brief note of assurance to you that Tribal Core is fully operational at this time and we have a 90-Day Plan for continuity.

We operate as a virtual team using such communication tools as email, Slack, Zoom and Asana. While I expect that for our clients and ourselves, we each may experience significant disruption in the coming weeks and months, be it caring for elderly parents or dealing with at-home kids, our team already works efficiently with flexible hours and plenty of lead time on deliverables.

We will spend the next 90 days heavily investing in R&D. This means even better products and services for our clients, better workflow, and increased reliability and resiliency.

We're a boutique agency. We operate remotely, everyone on the laptops wherever they live. So our carbon footprint is quite low to begin with. That said, it was important to us that we address our impact and offset it best we can.
